Über den Autor
Melisa Deciancio is a Lecturer in International Studies at FLACSO and a fellow of the Argentine National Scientific Council. Her research interests lie on how International Relations in Latin America has developed as an academic field in and how concepts have been travelled and internationalized. She has published her work in International Studies Review, Desafíos, Iberoamericana and Colombia Internacional among others.Diana Tussie is a leading voice in Latin American IPE. Her works span a number of wide issues in the international political economy of development, global economic governance, regionalism, international trade, regionalism, the state market relations. She is Professorial Fellow of the Argentina National Scientific Council. In 2017 she was awarded the Distinguished Scholar Award of the Global South Caucus of ISA. She has been a member of the Committee for Development Policy of the United Nations.Amitav Acharya is Distinguished Professor at the School of International Service, American University, Washington DC. He also holds the UNESCO Chair in Transnational Challenges and Governance since 2011. He was elected to be the President of the International Studies Association (ISA), the most recognized and influential global network of international studies scholar worldwide, for 2014-15. As the first ISA President from outside the West, he promoted the idea of Global IR, with the goal of injecting more diversity into the study of international relations and making it into a more dynamic and inclusive discipline and overcoming its hitherto neglect of the voices and experiences of the Global South.
