Laboratory Characterization of Contaminant Transfer during Boiling
Chlorinated volatile organic compounds (CVOCs) in fractured, low permeability media can be a long-term source of groundwater contamination, and they are among the most challenging sites for remediation. The objective of this research is to characterize contaminant mass transfer in low permeability clays at boiling temperatures. Über den Autor
Xiaoling got her bachelor's (BE) in environmental engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. She got her MS and PhD from Clemson University, SC. Her PhD project was a SERDP project on contaminant transfer in fractured rocks and clays at boiling temperatures. Her work was supervised by Dr. Larry Murdoch and Dr. Ron Falta.
