Interdisciplinarity has been a defining feature of Interpreting Studies from its inception. The present volume comprises a selection of papers by authors from five different European countries; the papers explore the crossroads of various subdisciplines within Interpreting Studies and beyond. Simon Zupan is Associate Professor at the Department of Translation Studies at the University of Maribor, Slovenia, where he teaches the theory and practice of simultaneous and consecutive interpreting. Aleksandra Nuc is a conference interpreter and instructor at the Department of Translation Studies at the University of Maribor, Slovenia, where she teaches various courses in simultaneous and consecutive interpreting.
