Summer monsoon is the most dominant weather system in India. It is very essential to examine the impact of climate change on the summer monsoon. Most of the climate change studies over India are mainly done using GCMs with resolution of the order of few hundred kilometers. It is hoped that a regional model at higher resolution than a global model may provide better climate change information at regional scale. Über den Autor
Dr. Kanhu Charan Pattnayak is a Post Doc Fellow at Leeds University. Prior to it he was a Project Scientist C at NCMRWF, Ministry of Earth Sciences India. He did his BSc and MSc from Berhampur University, MTech from Andhra University and PhD from the IIT Delhi India. His research interest: Indian monsoon, regional climate modeling & climate change.
