Kaizen is a Japanese participative Quality management technique. KAI means change and ZEN means better. Thus kaizen means change for the better. It implies small improvements done continuously. Kaizen technique is successfully implemented in Japanese industries. The success rate forced the western countries to take interest in the technique.
