Isolation, identification and molecular characterization of hydrocarbon degrading bacteria from tannery waste soil
This study shows that bacterial species found in highly toxic environment are capable of degrading high toxic wastes like xenobiotic compounds, PAH etc. I had isolated bacteria from tannery soil that is highly toxic in nature. Bacterial species growing in such an environment are capable of sustaining in adverse condition and highly adaptable to condition that are unsustainable to other species. Bacterial species isolated from such an environment can be used for various bioremediation purposes.
