This book explores the coping mechanisms of mothers caring for their adolescent children with Cerebral Palsy. This work attempted to address a gap in the literature pertaining to understanding negative and positive ways of coping related to mothers and the specific problems they have to deal with in caring for adolescents who have Cerebral Palsy. Über den Autor


During my Masters degree, I volunteered at a special needs school. Counselling children with disabilities made me aware of the challenges they faced. I found a gap in the literature as far as mothers were concerned and decided to research this subject. It has been an amazing journey learning so much from the mothers interviewed.
