Handbook on Soft Computing for Video Surveillance
Visual surveillance has become a key technology to use for security and safety. This book presents novel soft computing-based solutions to video surveillance problems and future trends. In a unified manner, it describes the basic concepts, theories, and algorithms that demonstrate how and why soft computing methodologies can be used in the solution of different surveillance problems. The text covers video sensors and data fusion processing, detection and recognition, video analytics and behavior, video archival and retrieval, advanced visualization tools, and security and safety applications.
