Bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) is one of the most important food crops, feeding about 40 % of the world's population. Genetic improvement in wheat focus on three main areas: enhancing yield, overcoming biotic and abiotic stress and improvement end use quality. Mala Kumari (b. 1987). She graduated from B.H.U Varanasi in 2011 and postgraduated in Genetics and Plant Breeding from C.C.S.H.A.U Hisar in 2013. She worked on the crop Wheat and Lathyrus. She is author of several papers and articles published in the reputed journals. She is recipient of several fellowships during her academic carrier.
