Fifty Years of Magnetoencephalography
Beginnings, Technical Advances, and Applications
Fifty Years of Magnetoencephalography celebrates the discovery and evolution of the newest method for imaging the activity of the human brain-magnetoencephalography, or MEG. This volume reveals the degree to which particular brain areas, revealed through MEG, contribute to different behavioral and psychological functions like sensation, motor behavior, and language. It also details current clinical applications of this technology in epilepsy surgery andindicates what the future applications are most likely to be.
