Ferroelectric materials have received lots of attention thanks to their intriguing properties such as the piezoelectric and pyroelectric effects, as well as the large dielectric constants and the spontaneous polarization which can potentially be used for information storage. Qingteng Zhang received his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at Xi'An Jiaotong University in July, 2009 and his Ph.D. in Physics at University of South Florida in September, 2012. He currently has two first-author papers in Physical Review Letters and have spoken at three international conferences.
