Ethnobotany is the study of plants used by the aboriginals for food, medicines, shelter, clothes and other religious performances in the interior forest areas. The present study was carried out in Srikakulam district to bring out light on the ethnology of tribes, their social customs, traditional beliefs, religious rites, food, drinks, agricultural, economical and medicinal practices.
