Über den Autor


Douglas C. Smith, Ph.D., LCSW, is Associate Professor of Social Work at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has worked in the substance use field for 20 years as a clinician, clinical supervisor, and researcher. Dr. Smith has published numerous scientific articles and his research has been funded by the National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA), the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA),and the US Department of Justice. He delights in raising his two daughters and in being an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
