Fracture Mechanics deals with propagation of cracks in material, This book deals with basic parameters of fracture toughness on mild steel tested on MTS Machine of 10 tonn capacity. The standards of ASTM has been taken for loading and finalizing geometry of mild steel specimen. Side Edge Notch Bend specimen has been used in this work. The study can be further extended to different materials like concrete, Aluminium and other grades of steel.
