Effect of Fe & Zn Nutrition on Growth, Yield & Quality of Chick Pea
EFFECT OF MICRO NUTRITION ON CHICKPEA (Cicer arietinum L.)
On the basis of one year experimental data, it may be concluded that soil application of 4.0 kg Fe ha-1 and 2.5 kg Zn ha-1 were found effective in improving the yield and profitability of chickpea under irrigated conditions of South Saurashtra Agro-climatic zone. Plant population was not affected significantly with the application of iron at 20 DAS and at harvest. Iron fertilization did not have any significant effect on harvest index.
