Effect of orientation and insulation on temperature in a multistoried residential buildings at jaipur
Reduction of energy consumption in buildings is one of the main concerns worldwide and it is a serious challenge particularly in desert regions. In India there are many regions where desert conditions prevail. In this study the effect of some of the parameters such as (i) insulating material on the external walls and roof and (ii) the orientation of the building on indoor thermal environment has been simulated using commercial software - 'Design Builder'.
