The book will provide a detailed description of the floristic features, ecological features of Ranunculus sceleratus 0n the canal bank of the Nile Delta. Quantitative determination of the secondary metabolites (tannins, saponins, flavonoids, alkaloids and phenolics) were determined. The antioxidant activity by using DPPH radical scavenging activity for an assay of the radical scavenging activity for an assay of the radical scavenging activity of the methanolic plant extracts of Ranunculus sceleratus. Prof. Serag completed his PhD in Ecology from Mansoura-Lund Universities Channel System 1989. Currently working as professor of Ecology at Damietta University. He published more than 108 research papers in national and international journals and 10 e books. He is interested in plant diversity and management of natural resources.
