Leptochloa fusca and Echinochloa stagnina. The above ground biomass for Leptochloa fusca was 2.5 kg/m2 fresh weight, which is 25 tons per hectare. Prof, Serag completed his phD in Ecology from Mansoura-Lund Universities, Channel System, 1989. Currently he is working as a Professor of Ecology at Damietta University. He published more than 87 research papers in national and international journals. He is interested in plant diversity and management of natural resources.
