Über den Autor
Andrew V. Edwards is a digital marketing executive with 20 years of experience serving large organizations, and has been an operating executive and digital marketing consultant since the 1980s. Currently he is a Managing Partner at Efectyv Digital, and Managing Partner at Technology Leaders, a web analytics consulting firm he founded in 2002. Since 2002, Edwards has been consulting with Fortune 500 companies about digital analytics, a form of audience measurement based on user activity on web sites. His company, Technology Leaders, has provided web analytics and web site user-tracking expertise to leading organizations like The Coca-Cola Company, Michelin North America, Century 21 Real Estate, and more. In 2004 he founded the Digital Analytics Association, which today has over 2,000 members worldwide and is the only organization dedicated to bringing digital marketers and digital analysts together. A recognized thought-leader in the industry, Edwards has written numerous articles and has spoken at events like eMetrics, the OMMA Mobile Conference, The DMA Conference and at Search Engine Strategies (now called ClickzLive). In partnership with Incisive Media, he wrote the world's first Convergence Analytics report about the state of the analytics industry in 2013. He built some of the first web sites for companies like Digital Equipment Corporation, Sobe Beverage, Andrew Lloyd Weber and Canon Digital Video. He was awarded a Fast 500 award in 1999 from Deloitte and Touche for his interactive design company. In 2000, he sold this firm to a publicly held company. Today he continues to provide digital marketing expertise to large organizations like The Coca-Cola Company, Michelin North America, and Wenner Media. He has a personal blog, Tomorrow's Ghost.
