Novel fold-able mechanism for space application
This book present simple solution to build, fold and deploy complex mechanism. Two approach of segmentation are discussed. Design, Simulation and manufactured in the work. The prototype assemblies of two versions are demonstrated for folding, deployment and effective of mechanisms validations, simulation and the realized versions of the design.The growing requirement in space industry demand higher resolution and there paved the way research and development into segmentation of monolithic mirror.
