Growth and Feeding Strategies of Snakehead (Channa striatus) in Recirculating Aquaculture System
This book is the result of two years Master research on culture technique of snakehead, Channa striatus in recirculating aquaculture system (RAS). Growth and survival of endangered snakehead Channa striatus were investigated at different diets, feeding frequencies and stocking densities in RAS. The fry fed with trash fish showed significantly higher (p < 0.05) weight gain percentage than those fed with Acetes shrimp and bloodworm. The best FCR value (3.63 ± 0.27) was found in fish fed with trash fish compared to those fed with Acetes shrimp (7.41 ± 0.88) and bloodworm (11.48 ± 1.51). Über den Autor
Afzan Muntaziana was born in Kelantan, Malaysia on April 17, 1987. She was awarded a Master degree of Science in Aquaculture from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in 2014. She is currently working as Research Officer at National Fish Health Research Division (NaFisH), Penang, Malaysia.
