Claws of Uthurunku: poems
A poetry collection that recalls the stories of Inanna and Persephone of Sumerian and Greek myth. The goddess, luminous and innocent, descends to the dark realms, undergoes transformational suffering, and returns whole and powerful. With her, we embody the poison of experience and transmute it to power for healing and new life. To make the descent well, we must be willing to surrender to darkness as well as to light, and to find a way to dance gracefully in both realms.
