China's Emerging Cities
The Making of New Urbanism
Provides material on Chinese urban development. This book demonstrates how it transcends the centrally-planned model of economic growth, and assesses the extent to which it has gone beyond the common wisdom of Chinese 'gradualism'. It covers topics such as local land development, the local state private-public partnership and foreign investment.
