Über den Autor


Annie Young is Emerita Professor of Nursing at Warwick Medical School, University of Warwick, UK and Honorary Nurse Consultant, University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire, having recently retired. Annie now works part-time at the University, initiating and implementing research projects and as a mentor in UHCW, building the research capacity in the NHS Trust. Her research portfolio encompasses supportive care for cancer patients, predominantly on the management of cancer-associated thrombosis and including prevention of chemotherapy-induced alopecia and nausea and vomiting. Rehabilitation for cancer patients, new technologies for monitoring side effects of cancer therapies and cancer-associated cognitive impairment are special interests. Annie visits low resource countries in Africa to support their oncology nursing and patient care programmes and to partner in research.
