Knowledge of the flight activities of meliponines is essential for understanding the foraging patterns of these bees, as well as their preservation and obtaining subsidies for the use of these insects in crop pollination. This research addresses the flight activity and the influence of temperature during foraging of the Canudo stingless bee species, Scaptotrigona bipunctata, in natural nest conditions in the Teresina Zoological Botanical Park. Daniela Andrade Silva, daughter of Gabriel Pereira da Silva Filho and Edna Maria Andrade da Rocha Rodrigues, was born on March 02, 1987, in Teresina, PI. In 2015 graduated in Agronomic Engineering from the State University of Piauí and became Specialist in 2017, by UNINTER, in Environmental Management and Sustainable Development.
