School violence and Reporting behavior
This book looks at school violence from the perspective of Native Hawaiian high school students. Native Hawaiian students were surveyed from grades 9-12 about the violence that happens to themselves and other students in their high school environment . Students were then surveyed about who they would report to about the violence (i.e reporting behavior) such as a friend, grandparent, counselor, parent, or school principal. Lastly this book explores the cultural backgrounds and identity of the students and questions whether that has any effect on reporting violent incidences to school officials.

Über den Autor
Kumu Hans Wilhelm graduated from Aiea high school in 1992. Hans later graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a major in Hawaiian Studies. Hans also completed his Masters degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in education administration. In 2010, Kumu Hans received his doctorate from the University of Southern California LA.
