Building development cost is influenced by a raft of complex factors which range from project characteristics to the operating environment and external dynamics. Linlin Zhao started her research career in 2012 undertaking his PhD studies on the New Zealand construction industry. For his doctoral project, supported by a China Scholarship Council (CSC) PhD scholarship, Zhao investigated the relationship between building development cost and their influencing factors.
