Biological Evaluation of Indigenous Plants
This study has shown that ethanolic extract from Syzygium cumini caused the uterine muscle to have remarkable relaxation, indicating that the extract was used as a Tocolytic medicine. The extract also inhibited the contraction in the Ileum muscle that was mediated in the channel and mediated by the receptor. This indicated once again that the extract has such an anti-contraction effect in smooth muscles by preventing the flow of extracellular calcium and intracellular calcium.
