Being fascinated with Japan since early childhood, Alexandra Faust studied in Japan already at the age of 15, further digging into the country's traditions and culture by continuing to study Japanese studies, cultural studies and social and cultural anthropology at the Humboldt University of Berlin, University of Kyoto and University of Vienna.
