The architectural and urban heritage in the Algerian Sahara, particularly the ksour, certainly represents a cultural production of undeniable wealth. Because of its architectural and urbanistic value, the ksar constitutes one of the historical landmarks of present-day Saharan cities, which unfortunately continue to fall into neglect, where a considerable part of this heritage is in agony and is in imminent danger of disappearing.
